  • Condition: Complete as shown ONLY, this plate was installed on the driver's side of the aluminum cam cover on top of the motor. This plate was evidently stamped with the wrong motor number in error- someone tried to correct it by overpunching the last few digits, then decided to stamp it again on the top right of the plate. NO signs that this was ever installed on the motor, from a very old collection, as-is, just out of long storage, please see pictures and description.

    1929 STUTZ BLACK HAWK SIX OHC ENGINE ID SERIAL NUMBER PLATE, NOS, FACTORY DEFECT?
    Complete as shown ONLY, this plate was installed on the driver's side of the cast aluminum cam cover on top of the motor. This plate was evidently stamped with the wrong motor number in error- someone tried to correct it by overpunching the last few digits, then decided to stamp it again on the top right of the plate. NO signs that this was ever installed on the motor, from a very old collection
