1953-1956 Austin Healey 100-4 Cylinder Head. This Factory OEM Westlake cylinder head was discovered in the attic of a shop in West Los Angeles, California.
I am willing to say, after 45 years into Healeys, there is probably not another one anywhere in the world. This baby is priceless! Never mounted, never surfaced, no water near it
ever, This head still retains the factory applied Cosmoline Protective Finish and there is absolutely no rust anywhere. Has been properly stored for all the years!
Healey experts will tell you the numerous problems with the aluminum heads being manufactured now concerning metal contraction with iron engine blocks, 0 head gaskets
that do not work, be it steel or copper. Constant coolant leaking even with freshly decked engine blocks along with overheating issues. Among many other issues!
Please do not waste your money and stress of buying a used Healey cylinder head, you have heard the nightmares, they are all cracked, warped, rusted, and resurfaced so many
