    Description

    Wrestling cardboard sign at the Clovis Armory Monday September 8th (most likely 1947 or earlier I think based on what I could find about the active periods for the guys named)-  Al Getz vs Tex Watkins is the head line. Undercard is Gorilla Poggi vs Ace Abbott and then Pat O'Dowdy vs Lobo Brown.   TONS of information about all of them on WrestlingData site.  A hair over 10 by 14 inches and except for the hole/tear center top in excellent shape.  No word on anyone wrestling a Pleistocene mammoth but one can dream.....
    I'm a Paleoindian archaeologist that has been collecting Clovis, NM stuff a while and decided I don't really need to have everything....
