Good Used Triumph TR6 Cylinder Head 313248 219019 V3298

Description

This sale is for a good used bare cylinder head
removed from
a 1973 Triumph TR6 that had
55,xxx miles on the odometer.  Cast in numbers
on the head are "313248" & "V3298".  "219019" is
stamped into the top of the head.
When disassembled, t
he engine had all standard size rod
and main bearings.  Th
e engine displayed no
signs of
overheating, oil starvation, oil contamination or
any other
type of distress.
The cylinder head was taken to a local high performance
automotive machine shop that has an excellent reputation.
The head was cleaned and mag checked.
The cylinder head was found to be free of cracks or other
serious defects.   The head is sound and ready to be
prepared by a quality machine shop.  Again, it is solid
and ready for reconditioning.  However, It may need
valve guides or seats replaced and it may need other
machine work.
Please look closely at all of the photos.
After the photos were taken, the head was given a protective
coat of oil to prevent rust on the clean bare casting
