    Description

Pop's basement isn't the only one in dire need of cleaning:  this is a set of Heritage Leather Saddlebags taken off a '93
FLSTF Fat Boy I no longer own, along with the support brackets and hardware.  These were made in Canada (back of the Heritage tag).
I've tried to be as accurate as possible in determining compatibility, but, basically, the bags and mounts ~should~ work on all
    STOCK
Evo-era (1984-1999) Fatboys and Softails, as well as most '00-'17 Softails.  That's why I included a detail photo of the hardware showing a 6.5-inch hole-spacing on the fender strut mounting points.  I am not a Harley-tech nor a lawyer- your mileage may vary if you've changed anything on your ride.
Back to the Bags:  they are used.  They are also in really great shape.  There's almost no sag, very little wrinkling, a few minor scuffs here and there- look at the pics, there's nothing to hide.  I didn't have to stuff them to make them look saddlebag-shaped.  The interiors sport the original reinforcement plates.  The bags' backing is a hard rubber-plastic (?) to protect the bags from anything thrown up from the rear wheel.  The bags' top is a full-sided cap - NOT A FLAP - so when closed, your gear is safe from the elements coming in from the front or rear.  The leather is thick, yet still supple, as I believe in saddle soap and taking care of your leather.  The closure straps are beefy, as is the stainless buckle hardware.
The mounts are polished stainless, and attach to the bags at three points (see pics).  There should be plenty of hardware to mount correctly.
If you're looking at this, you already know what good leather gear costs.  If you're looking for some quality, no-nonsense luggage for your bike (no offense to the concho/fringe/stud fans), here you go.
