One of the most important and collectible of the modern styles of rugs created in the 1970s-80s era, Burntwaters feature complex motifs and soft vegetal dyes. Excellent condition with slight but even fade to one side only as shown in photos, otherwise in perfect condition. Intricate patterns, uncommon and complex color palette. Burnt-water are a relatively new (1970s-80s era marked their beginning) and very popular style of contemporary Navajo rug utilizing more intricate motifs, a somewhat Persian rug look to the designs and a soft pastel color palette of vegetal dyes.
