Description
Märklin 72442 brake moduleNew in original packaging!
Signal drive with integrated circuit for controlled stopping of digital locomotives with high-performance drive. Connections for a two-concept light signal, for the 3 required track sections to safely stop the locomotive. The brake module is switched either via a k 83 decoder or via a conventional 7272/72720 control panel. Dimensions 100 x 54 x 22 mm. The brake module requires 3 isolated sections in the signal area. The first part is a transition area that corresponds to the length of a ski grinder (approx. 70-90 mm) corresponds. The second section is the actual braking area in which the locomotive stops in a controlled manner. The length of the braking distance is specified by the setting of the braking deceleration on the locomotive decoder. This second area should be at least 40-50 cm. The third section is a safety section, in which the driving voltage is switched off as previously in signal sections. This prevents the locomotive from accidentally "slipping" across the signal area. The brake module is suitable for light and shape signals. Locomotives with built-in unregulated digital or delta electronics sometimes stop in the braking section or only in the safety section. A clear specification is not possible. Therefore, the use of the 72442 brake module together with uncontrolled drives is less recommended.
All connections with new plug connections. Function corresponds to brake module 72441.
