    This  vintage postcard shows the interior..." of one of the remaining rooms of the Old Indian and Spanish Fortress built between 250 and 300 years ago.  also previous to the coming of the Spanish, there was an Indian settlement here, and the Old Well and its use, which in reality is a spring, dates back to the earliest dates of civilization in the United States...This view was taken by the National Geographic Magazine and appeared, full page, Aug. 1929, in that magazine."
