  • Condition: This rare 1910s "Old Bond" litho oval hinged 50 cigar humidor store display tin is in good condition with no rust, some small dents and some age related paint chips and scratches. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. The interior lid advertising is in excellent condition. The hinge is in excellent working order. There is a small piece of tax stamp.

    Description

    This rare 1910s "Old Bond" litho oval hinged 50 cigar humidor store display tin, measuring 5 1/2" x 4" x 6 1/8", is in good condition with no rust, some small dents and some age related paint chips and scratches.  The interior lid advertising is in excellent condition.  Much of the original high gloss finish remains.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  There is a small piece of tax stamp.  This striking green and off white tin with black lettering was made by the American Can Company, Baltimore, MD.  It features an image of a paper cigar label with a portrait of George  Washington in the center and the slogan "As good as a bond".  The cigars were manufactured in Factory 127, 11th District, OH.
