    Description

    This 1911 rare "Stag" vertical litho hinged pocket tobacco tin, measuring 3 5/8" x 1" x 2 3/8", is in good condition with no dents, some minimal superficial interior rust and some minor age related paint scrapes.  This very attractive maroon tin with white lettering features a powerful image of a stag standing in front of a mountain range.  The tobacco was manufactured by the P. Lorillard Company, Jersey City, NJ in Factory 10, 5th District, NJ.  P. Lorillard Company, established in 1760, was the first tobacco manufacturer in the USA.  It was sold to Reynolds American in 2014.
