    Description

    This rare 1920s Canadian "Tono-Sama" litho hinged 1/2 lb. tobacco tin, measuring 2 1/4" x 4" x 6 1/2", is in good condition with no rust, some dimple dents and some age related paint scratches and chips.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  This very attractive Japanese themed multicolored tin features a lid an image of a sailboat underway with Mt. Fuji in the background.   A crane in flight is seen on the front of the tin.  "Tono-Sama" means "feudal lord".  The tobacco was manufactured by the Imperial Tobacco Company, Montreal, Canada
