    This rare 1930s "Tuxedo" litho hinged pocket 1 1/2oz tobacco tin, measuring 4 1/8" x 7/8" x 3", is in excellent condition with no rust, or dents and some very minor age related paint scratches.  Much of the original high gloss finish remains.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  There is a complete tax stamp.  This very attractive green tin with gold lettering features a detailed image of a man in a tuxedo and top hat, with a coat draped over his arm and a pair of gloves in his hand.  The "Tuxedo" brand claimed that the greatest men in America smoked their products.  The tobacco was manufactured by the American Tobacco Company, Durham. NC.
