    Description

    This scarce 1900s "Motley"s Best" litho hinged tobacco tin, measuring 1 7/8" x 3 3/8" x4 1/2", is in good condition with no rust or dents and some minor age related paint chips and scratches.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  The tobacco was manufactured by A. H. Motley Tobacco Company, Reidsville, NC in Factory 4, District NC. This highly attractive green and orange tin was designed by Hasker & Marcuse Manufacturing Company, Richmond, VA.  It features a detailed portrait of A.H. Motley surrounded by a beautiful floral motif.
