Description
This dreadnaught guitar was made near the end of 2004. Fender acquired Tacoma guitars in October 2004. This before fender could address the problems applying finish. It is common for the pre- Fender guitar to have the finish lifting also called “guitar rash”. This problem did not effect the guitars playing and beautiful rich sound. The guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides, Abalone accents and the fretboard & bridge are ebony. It is set up with light strings. The action measures 0.09” at low E and 0.08” at high E. The bridge is holding strong. No neck separation from body. No fret or fingerboard wear. No cracks or dings. It does have the lifting finish or rash as seen in photos. Has 14 Frets to body.
This is a nice playing guitar. 1.75” nut and measures 15.5” across bout, depth 4.5”. Tusq saddle
Fishman Rare Earth Magnetic Acoustic Soundhole Humbucker Pickup works great. These cost 0 new.
Also comes with original Tacoma case, ernie ball strap, picks and extra batteries for the pickup. ( I just put fresh ones in). Has case key and pickup spacer ( spacer part to use I’d you do not want pickup installed)
Over all very good playing condition. But does have finish rash which could be refinished.
I will only ship main USA states. This does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Sorry. I don’t like to take the risk.
