Featuring a solid spruce top and flame maple back and sides, the GJ72CE produces all the volume and robust sound that players expect from a jumbo guitar. The slim mahogany neck and 12-radius bound rosewood fingerboard provide great feel and playability, while the onboard Takamine TK-40D preamp system gives you a built-in tuner, 3-band EQ and gain controls, mid-contour switch, notch filter and EQ bypass switch for the ultimate in versatility and sound quality.

In addition to a large volume knob, the TK-40D system on the GJ72CE gives you a tuner and an active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble sliders you can use to shape your sound. There's even a low-battery indicator onboard so you know when you need to swap out the 9-volt. Plug in to turn on the preamp, unplug to turn it off.
