    The MARCo receiver contains two RailCom
    ®
    - Detectors for monitoring one track section each and an intelligence that can independently perform switching operations. The connection to the digital center is made via the LocoNet.
    If simple switching functions are to be carried out regardless of the direction of travel, a module can monitor two track sections. Only the address of the passing locomotive is transmitted and simple switching tasks are carried out.
    Vehicles without RailCom transmitters can switch 2 solenoid addresses for occupancy and free notification via the built-in feedback for each track section.
    At points where an automatic function dependent on the direction of travel is to be carried out, the two track sections of a detector are installed one after the other in the track. In addition to the address, the direction of travel is recognized and the automatic system can stop the train precisely in the second section.
