This
Vintage Kay Archtop
is a all original player and is in very nice vintage condition overall for a 60+/- year old vintage guitar. The Original finish shows only minor flaws and is better than you would expect of a vintage, played guitar. These may consist of some scratches, dings, chips, checking and finish wear, but still super clean

The fingerboard and frets are in great condition, showing minor wear, and plays perfectly as is

. The hardware is still in nice shape, but does show some age and discoloring. The back of the neck and head stock are in great condition, with minor flaws from age/play

. The original pick guard is also in great shape with some fading

. This guitar was professionally checked with proper lighting, and there are
NO
signs of refinishing. The neck has some relief, but plays very well as it sits with a string height of 1/8" at the body.  My pics are very descriptive, so be sure to see them all!

This Kay N1 was recently set up with Martin Extra Lights.  These guitars are not very loud acoustically, but it sounds great plugged in.  The DeArmond operates perfectly.  Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking.
