    Vintage Navajo 3 Figure Yei Rug by Helen T. Begay 1970s -1980's.
    Helen T. Begay is a member of the Begay family of rug weavers,
    which include Marie, Sandy, Alice and Margorie to name few!
    This rug was created in New Mexico and purchased
    in either the late 70's or early 80's

    ” (pronounced “yay”) is the Navajo name for the benevolent supernatural beings who bring their healing power to medicinal ceremonies still performed today. The

    In the picture you can see a section with variation of color in the body of the middle dancer. That is original and not a stain. Rug in like new condition, no moth holes or tears or spots.
